MONDAY North
Course
• League play starts April 26 and ends September ?. No play on May 31 or September 6.
• Make-up rounds need to be played in advance and turned in by scheduled play.
• Blue tees will be used. Golfers 65 or older have the option to play from the white tees.
WEDNESDAY South Course
• League play starts April 28 and ends September 16. No play on Aug. 25 (Mayors Outing).
• Make-up rounds need to be played in advance and turned in by scheduled play.
• White tees will be used.
FEES
League fees of $40 and skins fees (optional) of $20 to be paid by 1 week prior to the start of play, week 1.
RAIN
Rain outs will be determined by 4:00 on the day of play. The Scorekeeper makes the call. That round will be a rain out for all players. If the day is rained out, completed rounds can be used for make-up.
FORMAT
Team match play scoring is the format. Keith Rigterink, The Scorekeeper, will be delighted to explain the system to one and all.
OPPONENTS
The League matches will be scheduled by the Scorekeeper. The schedule will be out by the second week.
NO OPPONENTS
When you play a round with no opponent either because of a no show or a bye, you will be scored against a blind. The blind is the average scores shot for each hole last year. Last years averages are;

SCORECARD
Preprinted scorecards should be available after week 1. Turn in your signed and dated scorecard at the lodge social quarters. When the cards are turned in on the scheduled day of play, each league member will receive their second drink free courtesy of The League.
If you need to use a course scorecard, be sure your and your opponents names are on the card.
RESULTS
Weekly results are available on The Lodge web sight at www.moose980.org/sports/golf. Schedules, Handicap and Contact info can also be found here. For access enter last 4 numbers of your Moose ID and your First Name for the password.
SKINS GAME
A skins game is played every week. $1 per week. $20 must be paid with your league fee prior to the start of play week 1. Rain out pots will carry forward to the next week.
CLOSEST TO THE PIN GAME
A Proxy (closest to the pin) will be played each week. The winner will receive a $5 Moose Buck. Monday will play holes 2 & 11 from the blue tees. Wednesday will play holes 3 & 13.
50 / 50
A 50/50 drawing is held each week. 50/50 tickets are available at the course or at The Lodge. The winner is drawn at 8:00 on Wednesday night.
RULES OF GOLF (You hit it there so play it from there.)
USGA rules of golf govern play. To avoid confusion from past years, the following rules need to be observed.
• There are no mulligans at any time in league play.
• Everyone must hole out unless conceded by your opponent.
• Out of bounds is stroke and distance. Play a provisional if in doubt.
• If your ball is near the fence, play it as it lies, there is no one club length rule. If you can't hit it (unplayable ball, rule 28), take a penalty stroke and move it two club lengths, no nearer the hole.
• Bumping your ball, other than in the fairway, is not allowed. Play it as it lies.
